BIO
Dustin (Dusty) is an award-winning filmmaker and Assistant Professor of Film and Video at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia. With expertise as a Director of Photography, Colorist, and Editor, his work reflects a deep commitment to the visual language of film and the power of image-based storytelling. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Visual Media Production from the University of North Carolina Asheville, and a Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

In both his creative practice and his teaching, Dustin emphasizes the intersection of artistry and technique–encouraging students and collaborators alike to explore how light, color, and movement shape emotion and meaning on screen. His films have been recognized for their visual precision and emotional depth, underscoring his dedication to the evolving craft of cinema.
